About Us
Since 1992, Basic Beginnings has been helping children reach their potential and enjoy a process of life long learning. Our learning center is operated by early childhood educators who, combined, have over 30 years experience in early childhood education. We offer quality childcare for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children at convenient hours of operation that accommodate parents’ schedules. We believe in the importance of establishing a parent-teacher partnership that fosters respect in the best interest of each child.

Our Philosophy
We provide a safe, healthy learning environment that supports social and emotional development, with positive guidance. Each child is treated as an individual and is encouraged and challenged accordingly. We know that a parent knows their child best and we will work together with you to decide how to help your child learn and develop.

Our child-centered programs, classrooms and curriculum are in accordance with the Massachusetts Department of Education preschool standards and are designed to:

Learning is satisfying and enjoyable when a child plays, explores his or her environment, creates projects, listens to stories and communicates ideas and feelings. Our curriculum paves the way to a smooth transition to school learning.
